Meet Dr. Christy Bee
Dr. Christy Bee is a daughter, sister, and friend who is a lifelong student of the Word and Spirit of God. She is a woman of prayer who is committed to pursuing God's presence and His unique purpose for her life. Committed to the process of becoming the woman God has ordained for her to be, Dr. Bee seeks to empower others and give them the tools they need to do the same. Whether it is through worship, prayer, preaching, teaching or coaching, Dr. Bee's passion is to transform lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ and bring them into wholeness, maturity in the faith and the more abundant life Jesus promises in John 10:10.
Dr. Bee attended Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS) in NYC for five years where she was equipped with the tools to teach the Word of God and lead others in the work of inner healing and leadership development. From ATS, Dr. Bee received both a Master of Divinity in Church Development and a Doctorate in Ministry. Her dissertation research titled "The Relationship Between Family of Origin Health, Family Expressiveness, Emotional Health and Emotional Intelligence: A Mixed Methods Study of Church Leaders in America" explored how the family of origin of Christian leaders influences how they show up in their life and leadership praxes. Dr. Bee believes that God desires for Christian leaders to be whole and mature so that they can be effective in leading others in the body. To partner with God in this work, she runs a mentorship program called The Leader's Den to develop leaders in the place of inner healing, soul care, prayer and developing intimacy with God.
Dr. Bee currently lives in Brooklyn, NY where she serves at her local church and teaches Middle School Science at a local charter school. She is also the author of the book Not Forgotten which is a memoir where she tells the story of how God saved her from committing suicide at the age of 11, and transformed her life from the inside out. In it she also provides readers with principles of inner healing for them to unlock God's redemption work in their lives. Dr. Bee is also the author of the ebook Pursuing Transformation which outlines five areas of a believer's life that need to be processed through in the journey of pursuing transformation through Christ. Dr. Bee has also released her debut EP entitled There Is More where she encourages listeners to build their lives on the promises of God in His Word.

Of all the things Dr. Bee has done and become, she is most proud of her decision to be a Decided Daughter™. Where life's circumstances have tried to discourage her to live below the standard of the abundant life that God has intended for her, she has made the conscious decision to walk in her identity and authority as a called and chosen daughter of God. For all of her days, she has vowed to teach men, women and children the like, to lived decided as well.
